The Mother's day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia. It began from the United States, and now it's a celebration in every part of the world.

Anna Jarvis was so fond of her mother's work that she wanted to continue the work and set it aside a day to honor all the mothers in the world.
